This is very slick indeed  I'm using E17 as my desktop/window manager thingy and I like it a lot. :D

Linux powered, Enlightenment desktop with a touch screen optimized interface running on an Asus T101MT Tablet/Netbook covert-able. Video was done using both a video camera and GTK-recordmydesktop. This was done to ensure users could see the touch screen in action and still be able to read the text on screen clearly. Video was edited using OpenShot video editor.

The operating system is Bodhi Linux - http://bodhilinux.com/ - and the Enlightenment module that is the launcher is ELFE

Background songs are Learn to Fly, by the Foo Fighters followed up by Troublemaker from Weezer.

Well E17 finally came out of Beta last year and is one slick desktop/windowmanager. I'm using it on my Arch 64 bit install and am impressed with the improvements made since I last used it. I replaced the file manager with SpaceFM as I think it is a better choice for me. The article below is about the Bohdi customised version.

The basic thing you need to know about E17 is that it is resource-friendly, and will run on very old computers. But if it will run on old computers, imagine how it will fare on that “supercomputer” sitting on your desktop or on your lap. Also E17′s window-compositing is hardware-independent.

It can be customised anyway you like and IMHO is far superior to KDE.
