Enhancing the Performance of WMP 9

Is there any way to enhance the performance of WMP 9.
i.e. allocate more CPU or memory to it or to somehow push
more power its way. I have a very large mp3 collection
(about 65,000) and everything just seems to take forever
or I get frequent hangs. I know this is not a typical
user environment but I do have a fairly powerful PC with a
gig of RAM and was just wondering if anyone had any
performance enhancing suggestions.
 
Not really,the enhancements in wmp are about it,(equali
zer,wow flutter etc) however if you head to wmp9 series
home pages,click the third party add-ons for extras,
theres a few downloads to xp from microsoft,SDK might
be worth checking,the wmp9 series encoder,for individua-
lizing playback,youre sound card and its mfg is the #1
key.Hardware outpurforms software any time in the same
enviroment!
