another language to english !!!!! this is all very confusing

You won't find one for Home Premium. Only the Ultimate edition can download
language packs and change the default language.

i have vista home premium in italian language so i like to change it
in english can you pls help me thanks
Language packs are paid feature of enterprise Vista versions, so you're
out of luck. See if you can get refund for your Home Premium and obtain
English version.

Enterprise or Ultimate. An upgrade to Ultimate would allow for installation
of the English LIP. Otherwise, St would need to obtain and English language
version of Vista HP and create a clean install of it.

Is it possible to buy Windows Vista Home Basic or Home Premium in English
from say Microsoft Greece or Microsoft France? Last time I checked they only
offered me a localized version which is something I have with a passion...

Hi,

You;d have to ask them. I don't have access to those sorts of informational
resources on distribution. This is a peer support group and I am just
another user like yourself, I don't work for Microsoft.

i have windows vista licensed but its in italian language...
so if i format my PC and instal any version of windows vista in english
language. can you pls tell me if i lose my license or i can use it.
thank you for helping me

I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you asking whether you can
use the Italian version on another computer if you replace it with an
English version on this computer?

If that's the question, the answer is that it depends. If the Italian
version is a retail one, yes you can use it on another computer. But
it's an OEM version, the license restricts it to the original computer
it's installed on and you may not move it to another one. Moreover,
many OEM versions are BIOS-locked to the particular computer and won't
install on another one.

I interpret his question as more like if he loads an English version of
Windows (perhaps from a borrowed disk), can he use it under his
original license for the Italian.

If so, I still have no idea of the answer.

You will be able to activate Vista but I dont know if it will be a
violation of license agreement (never read that small print)
