Enforcing VPN usage

We have traveling salesmen that often hook up to high speed internet
connections. Is there any policy that I can create to force the salesmen to
use a VPN connection that I have set up? The point is I don't want them to
be able to directly surf the web through the hotel internet connection.

Internet Explorer->Tools->Internet Options->Connections:
select VPN connection and click "Set as default",
then choice here "Always dial my default connection" option.
I hope that this should work.

Thanks for the reply. To add to the problem, there are times that they need
to dial in to our servers when they don't have high speed from the hotels.
So what I am needing is the ability for them to dial-up when needed, and
when they have high speed I need it to be mandatory that they use the VPN.
