Enforce Password Complexity

The Enforce Password Complexity option was never set in our domain password
policy. I would like to enable this setting. I just want to confirm, this
only apply to new and changed passwords, it doesn't require this for current
passwords does it?

Correct, only new passwords must comply with the new policy,
