Ahhhh, the web browser is an added variable.

Are you viewing the actual PPT file in the browser, or did you save your
PPT file as a web page?

when viewing in a web browser at the end of the show there ia a black screen
with
click to re-start the presentation.
how do I make it automatically close

Hi Steve,

Try this:
Click on Tools, Options, uncheck the End with Black Slide
box. Click on Slide Show, Set Up Show, select Presented
by Speaker and DO NOT check loop continuously. Insert a
final slide at the end of your presentation and set the
slide transition to automatically advance after 0 seconds.

HTH,
Glenna
