End Program Win Min / Home page setting changes

When I try to shut down a window pops up with a title bar
that says End Program Win Min and XP wont shut off.
Also, My Home Page setting changes every time I start up
and Alph-Search.com opens (an adult theme website). I've
performed virus scans with clean results. I have changed
and changed and CHANGED registry keys to get rid of Alph-
Search to no avail. Please help!

The problem may be due to a spyware.

Download Ad-Aware from www.lavasoftusa.com, scan the system and eliminate
the malware products. Re-apply the above fix if necessary.
** Remember to update the pattern file using WebUpdate in Ad-Aware **

I purchased Ad-Aware Plus, scanned and cleaned re-booted
and still have that rotten Win Min box as well as the
trashy home page. I tried the KB fix #320159 to no avail.
Something keeps stealing my home page. any other advice?

If this din't help,download Hijackthis from the following site and post the
results to newsgroup or send a mail to me. (remove the text "REMOV_NOSPAM"
in the email address)

When virus scanners don't help, and spyware scanners don't help, you're in
deep trouble. Your next recourse is to search the Internet for a possible
cure. Don't forget to query Google Groups.

If all else fails, the one sure way is to wipe your hard drive clean and
reinstall, but hopefully you can avoid that.

Scanned with SpyBot, run HiJackThis etc. I have posted my
results and HiJackThis Log to SpywareInfo Support Forum
