I read today where Microsoft is discontinuing FrontPage at the end of 2006.
Any inside information on how complicated Microsoft Expression Webpage
Designer will be to learn in comparison to FrontPage? Will you be able to
easily incorporate your FrontPage sites into Expression Webpage Designer?

I am still looking for the "For Dummies" tutorial to put up a common, simple
web page.
If you wade into the download from the top it starts out with security
topics such as member logins.

I could not load a sample page, edit and download to a site with what I know
from working with Front Page and others.
I expect things will work out in the long haul, but I was hoping for a
faster start up!

There is an option for loading to a site with Front Page extensions so I
expect there is support there.

If the download was not free I would avoid it. By the time I have to make
the buy decision I expect to know if I want it.

The name FrontPage is being discontinued. Support for FrontPage 2003 will continue for some
time.

Not yet because there isn't even a beta version available yet.

Yes.

Using what? I'm not clear on what you're talking about here. How do you wade
through a download?
