End of an era!

At 1030 the end of an era as the last Land Rover Defender rolls off the production line.
I've owned one and possibly the best vehicle I have owned!

Yup Toyota must be rubbing their hands over the future military contracts.
That said the British Military do have a pretty big fleet that should go for another 10 years.
It's never over in a rover & the best 4x4 by far.

Hold on Royal was it not a Bren in your day & a sterling submachine gun by you side?

But see any modern military land rover these days and they all het modified.
The ones I used to drive had rifle racks/communication pods non spec.
