Encryted files visible

I have some files encrypted from my computer administrator account which I
can not open from any other account on my computer. But many of the files
are visible if the view attributes are set to thumbnails, is there a way to
correct this or is this normal? Thank you.

Ed,

When you say visible do you mean that the user can just
see that the file exists??

Is this such an issue, the user can't access them if you
have encrpyted them, are you using EFS? or some other
Encryption tool?

I'm using EFS. I can see images displayed as thumbnails. They can not be
opened however.

Im not aware of this issue with EFS, however you seem to
be having it. Maybe using an alternative encrpytion
method for you images may be appropriate.

I did a quick check, and cant find any instance of it
occuring, but then again it may just be an EFS issue.

Hi

Most likely because you haven't encrypted thumbs.db (a hidden file)
in the folder where the images are stored.
