Hello,
We are a group of users on a XP Professional remote desktop solution. We
need to protect some files and optionally e-mails with encryption to protect
private information. Is there an integrated MS solution availble or do we
need an additional 3rd party product? Has Utimaco any suitabe one?

Another option is to use Remote Desktop through a SSH tunnel. That is quite
easy to implement and one I suggest to small office/home office (SoHo) users
all the time.

Hello,
You answered my question on MSN XP working remotely. Sorry to say the
problem is not the connection itself. SSL is already implemented.

I look for an option where the files on the server shall be encrypted and
only available to a sub set of users in the group. They shall also be
protected from Administrators look. I also like to send mails with those
files appended to users outside the server. How shall they open the files?
Something like a PKI solution. We also intend to use some kind o strong
authentication with token or smart card. How to use card readers with a
remote desktop?

Regards,
