Does anyone here encrypt their back ups?

Depends. I work with some confidential data on occasion.
For this data, backups go eiter onto encrypted disks or I
encrypt the archive file with GnuPG.

Nope, what data that matters is encrypted on the
hard drive, so its encrypted in the backup too.
