encrypted discs?

I need to burn some sensitive data on cd's and would like to encrypt the
files in a way that a password is needed in order to read and access the
files. What is the best way of doing this?

If you are using Windows XP Professional, you would
use the built-in file encryption feature to encrypt the files,
then record the files to a CD. Windows XP has no ability
to password protect individual files or folders.
