Hi,
I just create an USB pen disk bootable with Win Xpe with a kiosk demo.
The hardware platform is a standard PC.
I need a way to encrypt the program I run inside to be sure that If someone
stole my USB pen, It will be unable to start the program.
Someone can give me some advices how to do that?

Thanks a lot

Yes I know it can be encrypted.
But what I need is fire up the PC wih WinXpe on a USB pen drive, then in
automatic start an application. If I encrypt the partition I can start in
automatic mode the application? I can image that if I put the pen drive on
other PC I will not be able to read the partition a part insert a password.

thanks a lot for the reply

NiBE,

If you don't want to go with FS encryption, there are a bunch of 3rd party
systems that will allow you to copy-protect your applications (just search
Google for USB copy protection). However, most of them oriented for either
user password (this sort of breaks your idea of automating the image run) or
use of hardware (built-in keys or MACs or etc.).
