encrypt files

hi
i can't open my encryped file ,
i have 2 patrttion and all my files in the second parttion
i formated the first parttion and i install the win2000
when i try to access to the file in the second parrtion i
can't because the file's encrypted , i don't backup the
keys for old user . but i have the old profile for old
user and there are the certificate security for the
account how i can use the certificate to encrypt the file

Hi

If you have the old user account ( sid ) you can enter in
the pc with the user account and in the
properties/advanced/ you will be able to decript the
folder or file
