Just wondering if any can help. Some how my web pages are
not loading properly. I have to manually check how the
page is encoded. Even if I have "Auto Select" check it
will default to another such as Wester Euporean ISO which
is not correct.

You may possibly be missing some .nls files and/or you registry is not set
correctly.

Pictures Are Not Displayed on Web Sites in Internet Explorer
A Web page may display an image as a red X, or a placeholder may appear in
place of the image.
Covers also this problem: Web page that is encoded for the Western European
(ISO) code page might not display any images:

Some have reported that a repair of IE cure the problem.
Add/Remove programs, MS/IE repair. Follow the instructions.
