Just recently I found when I open a pic from my documents, it opens in an encoded manner.....I have to R click and select "open with" then is ok.......would like to know how this happened...?
I can send screen shot if it would help.

When you click to open pic and the window pops up offering a choice of apps to open it with there should be a box to tick saying something like 'Make this the default application for this action' or similar. Choose your preferred app then tick the box.

If no box to tick then right click on pic, choose 'Open with' and the box to tick should be there.

And welcome to the forum btw :)

thanx guys, I had tried that 'open with' and had to do it each time but then checked the box.........and all ok......

cheers, mossymanrsauk
