Finding a definitive answer has been difficult... A step-by-step guide would be key, if someone could point me to it
The situation
Home Machine (WinXP-Pro) is on a cable modem and behind a D-Link router (modem gives dynamic IP to router, router gives 192.xxx.yyy.zzz to Home Hachine)
Work Machine (WinXP-Pro) is on a corporate network with all the usual bells and whistles. I can simulate it being truely remote by plugging it into the D-Link and using the VPN software to connect to said network. Of course, when it's on another port of the D-Link, I can RDC to Home Machine using the machine name and no IP
Is there a service that allows me to have the Home Machine name be discoverable via the Internet so I can RDC to it by machine name, regardless of firewalls, etc.
