I have an issue similar to "rookie" early today. in my case, faxing always worked, until a virus made me reformat my hard drive. In trying to re-setup faxing, Windows demands Service PAck 1 CD be installed. I don't HAVE a CD with Windows on it, let alone Service PAck1 -- I never did; I bought the PC new and Windows XP Home came loaded with my new Sony PC. I have tried inserting all disks that came with my PC, to no avail./Help would be appreciated.

If you have applied SP1 (from ANY source, including Windows Update), these
files may have been moved to a different folder (ServicePackFiles\i386), and
you will need to direct the routine to that folder.
