On win 2000 I couls go to Folder Options in Explorer and on the General Tab there was a "Web View" section that allowed me to "Enable Web Contents in Folders"

This has disappeared on XP

Can some tell me where it is

Also I would like to find this option in Group Policy so that it can be enforced on a domain

Thank

Both of your links do not answer my question

On our server, I have in certain folders (Eg f:\PROJECTS) a hidden folder called "Folder settings" and a file called Desktop.ini. "Folder Settings" has a file "folder.htt" inside it. On Windowx 2000, when I go to f:\projects folder, I usually get a web interface with a title bar(contents of folder.htt web file) list of folders only if "Enable Web Contents in folders" is selected in the Explorer --> Folders Options settings

Your first article (KB 291102) mentions That this "Enable Web contents in Folders" is available in Windows XP under "Folder Options". I cannot find it on any of our Win XP Pro Machines

Is there somewhere else I need to look at
We are on a Win 2000 SBS domain network

Thank

Yog

Yogi;
Windows Explorer | Folder Options | General tab |
Is  Show common tasks in folders checked? |
If not, check it | Apply | OK
[Specifies that hyperlinks to common folder tasks and other places on your computer are displayed in folders. These links appear in the left pane of the folder window.]

If  Use Windows classic folders is checked: [Specifies that folder contents are displayed like classic Windows folders, which means that folder contents do not look and work like Web pages.]

If in Windows Explorer the left hand pane is FOLDERS,
click the [X] to close it and display the Web View.
