We have Outlook 2007 and Microsoft CRM 4.0. The toolbar for CRM gets
disabled rather easily. Is there a way to force that back to enable when
starting Outlook or the computer automatically? Instead of going to Help |
Disabled Items? This would be a great help.

There's a Resiliency key in the registry that is where the disabled items
are stored and listed. However it's not an easy task to discover which
disabled item is which there so deleting that key before Outlook starts
would be the usual workaround.

The key is discussed in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319517, you have to
adjust the 10.0 to 12.0 for Outlook 2007.

That's going to also re-enable any other disabled addins, which are disabled
for a reason. They either don't handle all their exceptions or they are
crashing Outlook. In addition the CRM addin is also being disabled for that
reason so re-enabling it will only lead to it being disabled again or
crashing Outlook again or whatever it's doing to get itself disabled.

Great thanks for the help will give this a test.
