Harry,
You should not have had to reboot the machine. You probably have chosen
Save Emulator State instead of Turn Off Emulator when shuting down the
smaller size emulator instance. Once you do that, the saved state is shared
by all the emulators of the same type. To stop that, you open any emulator
of that type and select Turn Off Emulator when closing it. We are
evaluating this behavior of Visual Studio .NET 2003 and may change it in
the next version.
