emulating an old floppy drive using a PC

Hello, I am not sure if this pertains to you or not, but I saw your
web site and I have a need to emulate an 8 inch floppy drive.

I have an old machine tool that saves its information to an 8 inch
floppy drive, but the drive is failing. What I want to do is "remove
the floppy drive and connect my pc to the connecting cable" and
emulate the drive.

Does this sound like anyting you can do or provide me any more
information or links?
