Hello
I'm wondering here, if i can empty all my TEMP Directory in the WINNT
directory? Does anyone know if that is ok and safe?
I used to do that with Win98, but as I'm using Win2000 I don't know if
that's safe too.

Thanks.

Yes, it's entirely safe. Some Windows installs may leave things in the
Temp directory to be copied/moved at startup, so to be completely safe,
reboot your system just before cleaning it out.

You can set up a batch file to do this when you log on. In that case,
it's safer to delete only those file which haven't been referenced since
at least one day ago.

Yes this is fine to empty. You may also want to empty the temp directory
located by default at:
C:\Documents and Settings\{{insert user name here}}\Local Settings\Temp
This directory his hidden by default. You must show hidden directories to
locate it.
