I have lots of empty folders in C:\Windows and was wondering if they can be deleted. I am thinking that they may be old files from when the pc was running on Windows ME. I updated to SP Pro about 10 months ago.
Here is a llist of those folders in C:\Windows that are in question: (all are empty folders)
All Users (all 4 folders - application data;desktop;documents;start menu)
Application Data
App Log (hidden folder that is empty)
Cache
Command
Config
Connection Wizard
Desktop
Dr Watson
History
Mcbin
Minidump
MsApps
NetHood (hidden folder that is empty)
Options
PIF (hidden folder that is empty)
PrintHood (hidden folder that is empty)
Recent (hidden folder that is empty)
Samples
setup
Start Menu
Sun
SxsCaPendDel
SysBackup (hidden folder that is empty)
Templates (hidden folder that is empty)
UPGDLLS
UPGINFS
VBOX
Windows Update Setup Files
Any information you may be able to give me on any of these empty folders (some with more empty folders inside of them), would be Greatly Appreciated. I'm guessing that the "hidden folders" should NOT be deleted.
TIA
