empty folder of photos

I downloaded my photos from my digital camera to MY PHOTOS. It asked if I
wanted to delete from my camera when finished downloading photos. I checked
the box. Now I see the folder but no photos. Am I doing something wrong or
are the photos hidden somewhere. PLEASE HELP!!!! Marcia

I'm guessing your image files are in the .jpg
format?

You could try doing a search to see if you can
find the files.

Go to...Start / Search / Pictures / Pictures and
Photos...enter... *.jpg (yes you need the asterisk).

Click...Search.

If you place your pointer on the found files you
will see a box that displays the path to the files.

If you cannot find the files....software of the
type discussed in the following article may
help you recover the files from your memory card.

Do a search on Drive C: for *.jpeg if that is what your camera normally drops
them off as. If a different format do the search with the wildcard, *.TIFF,
GIF, etc.
