a colleague has burned half a cd full of photos, content that after 5 minutes
whirring and spitting out the cd that all would be well. however, when i put
the cd in my machine it shows no files at all. looking at the disc it has
physically been burned. how do i view/ access my files?

might be a blank cd that
is no longer writable since
it was burned.

some cd writers automatically
burn cd's when the eject button
is pressed.

so your colleague may have
had files awaiting to be written
to the cd but they were not
successfully transferred over
to it before the burn.

if the issue is that your
colleague can see those
files on that particular burned cd
but you cannot then this is
a different issue..

cd-r's are unforgiving but make
wonderful christmas tree
ornaments and window prisms.
