When I open attachments (primarily iCalendar) from external organizations in Outlook 2K3 they open as empty email messages. However, when I launch them from WebMail (IE 6.0) I am able to save or open as an .ics. What settings do I need to change within my client to open these normally

Thanks

Hard to say without seeing the message headers. What happens if you save the
attachment to a file in Outlook?

When I try and save it in Outlook it prompts me to save it as a .msg. However, when I save it via the web client it prompts me to save it as an .ics. This happened to me in Outlook XP as well
