maybe am on wrong section for word, am on 2007 version, what i would like to
do is emphasize a key word in a document and when hovered over with the mouse
comes up with a box and relevant information. Seen same idea on websites and
in the help sections of Microsoft Apps. (would be usefull for revision
purposes for cisco exam, A+ etc i am doing at moment)

for example highlight "microsoft vista" with brief text for example. help
would be appreciated where to find the commands to do that or a book that
goes into advanced functions such as this.

regards.

for a suggested method.

Please note that the "same idea on websites and in the help sections
of Microsoft Apps" you referred to are in HTML, and Word is NOT based
on HTML. The method suggested in the linked post is based on
"misusing" Word's hyperlinks in a way that was not intended, but it's
the closest approximation that's available.
