Looks like it's a Konica-Minolta term. "Provides for total integration
of document output management with a consistent user interface
and functionality across future Konica Minolta products." ...right
It looks like some 'new' print driver/server combined software. It
'eliminates hardware-based functions'. To me, this means 'Forces your
computer to waste more processing power so we can leave out even more
chips in the printer to save money'. From what I see, it's a more
'precise' driver, similar to what is currently being used on giclee
printers.
I could be totally off base with this though - so far I haven't seen a
document that explains it with something other than a splatter of
buzzwords.
