Emeregency harddrive help!!!

I need help asap plz

1.I think i had some kind of power outage last night and
it done screwed the hell up outta my pc, my hardrive aint
working properly.

2.I get this message everytime i turn on my cpu 1720-
smart harddrive detects imminet failure your hard drisk
drive is detecting an imminet failure yo enusre data loss
backup your contents

3.I dont know what to doo soo i havent tried any steps to
reoslve this issue

4.I have a compaq presario 6000 1.6ghz amd athlon xp
1600+ 1 maxtor 80gigabyte hardrive main harddrive one
with this problem 1westerndigital 120gigabyte 8mb cache
hardrive 768mb of ram nvidia geforce 4 mx420.
 
Very simple. The drive knows it has a problem and is going to die! It's a
feature called SMART So if your smart you'll backup and get another drive:-}

Download & run the disk diagnostic routine that your
the manufacturer of your hard disk makes available on
his home site, free of charge. This will tell you if the
"imminet" (imminent?) failure message is correct.
 
Spelling is irrelevant, right ?
