Emdeding Video File

I was just wondering if I can Embed (Not Link) short videos to a PowerPoint
presentation 2003. If it is possible, what video formats are acceptable and
also does it have to be insert it as an Object or could be insert it directly
from a movie files? Thanks, Kam.

Bad news I'm afraid. Video cannot be embedded. Some people have suggested to
convert the movie to a Flash file and insert that as a workaround.
