embeding video clip

Have been trying to run PPT with avi clips in slides.
However, after burning to cd, clips don't run (broken
link). How can I place clip in presentation so it becomes
part of the file? Will embeding the vidoe clip work?

Help with this will be appreciated. Thanks....Doug S
