hello everyone

is it possible to embed a pdf file within an html file,
for example, within a cell of a table ?

thank you

What if you saved your .pdf file as a .jpg? My .pdf files are large,
generally 8½" x 11", so I couldn put them in a table and have them be
legible. What kind of things are you hoping to achieve? Maybe there is a way
around it.

A PDF file is by definition another "thing" which is viewed with it's own
viewer. You can put a link to a PDF file in a cell, but only the link would
be there. When user presses link, then their viewer launches ... and that
would normally be Adobe Reader which then opens in it's own window or replaces
the window (controlled by you). You cannot in HTML say "open this link with a
viewer inside this cell". You can only say "open this link in this window, or
in a new window).

If you wish to put a picture of a PDF file into your cell, you can do that.
But it would only be a picture (GIF or JPEG).
