After I modify an embeded Excel spreadsheet in PowerPoint and save the changes in Excel, the spreadsheet size changes in PowerPoint. I am only able to see about half the spreadsheet because the rest of the page is outside the boundary of the PowerPoint slide. I cannot resize the spreadsheet to fit in the page. I am using Office 2000 with all the service packs. I have searched all over technet and still haven't found a solution.

See http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00068.htm

It may have to do with the combination of Windows/Office/and display
resolution of the computer you're working on, especially if the file was
created on a different system.

What Echo said. Also, use linked rather than embedded spreadsheets if possible.
They seem to cause fewer problems like this.
