I am trying to condense a slide pack by putting 2 or more slides on to one
slide ... I'm on the 2003 version now and don't seem to be able to insert the
images as I used to on older ppt versions.

Didn't want to use screen print because the image quality appears to
degrade...

Any ideas?

RobM,
Question is, what did you do in previous versions?
Am I understanding you correctly, you want to put a picture of a slide on
another slide?

RobM,
Here's what I would do:
select the slide you want to copy by clicking on the thumbnail on the left
of your screen, choose copy of course;
now go to any graphic program Paint, PhotoShop, IrfanView, paste your copy
in
copy it again using whatever method you want in Paint for instance you could
do just ctrl+c as it would still be selected;
go to PPT, activate the slide where you want the picture on;
choose Paste - Paste special - choose picture wmf or enhanced metafile - OK;
you can resize the picture easily if you want

Does this help, if not post back.
Rob if you are Dutch as your name seems to suggest you can post in the Dutch
PPT newsgroup also.

RobM,
There is also a second possibility, go to File - Save as - in the save as
list at the bottom of the dialog, choose type jpg or png, hit OK. Choose
current slide or all slides. PPT will make a folder with all the slides as
pictures. Now all you have to do is choose insert - picture - from file -
select and insert - then resize.

Thanks for this work around ... only problem is that some of the text
granularity is lost ... obviously I am trying to get too much info on too few
slides!!!

As ever!
