I wish I could post a picture of this because I'm probably not going
to call certain things by their correct name. Think about all the
stuff at the bottom of your screen... from Start to the time.

I searched for my (Eudora) attached and embedded folders the other
day. I found them, but I ended up with 3 "embedded"s (which lead to
the same Eudora Embedded folder)... close to the time area on my
systray. I found that I could eliminate them by right click >
toolbars > uncheck "embedded".... but since that makes it easy to view
the Embedded folder, how can I add an "attached" next to embedded?

It was a good mistake to make, so now I need to know how I did it!

Any ideas? I'm clueless.

TIA

That is the Windows Taskbar you refer to. Now then, I'm not sure what attached is.

In Maurice N ~ MVP <[email protected]> had this to say:

My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:

Do you mean Quick Launch? I'm not really sure... If you do then it's here:

C:\Documents and Settings\Master\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Quick Launch

Where "Master" would be your user name. That's for a default install on C:
drive.

LOL! Eudora named it "attached" because it's the folder email
attachments are found in. Now, how do I make it a permanent member of
the task bar?

TIA

One way to do it is: Bring up Windows Explorer. Resize the window so it is not at full maximum. You need to see the Taskbar.
In Windows Explorer, drag the folder (with mouse) and drop it onto Taskbar. That would establish a link to that folder.

Thanks! I'll give that a try. You'll know it didn't work if I come
"crying" back.
