I would like to embed a PPC device into some custom hardware, I know I
could just bolt an existing PDA into the hardware but this is
obviously very amateurish. Does anyone know if there is such a thing
as a PDA kit, which would provide me with the bare bones of a PDA
(i.e. motherboard, screen, operating system), if it also had bluetooth
that would be useful, but not essential.

Thanks,

Steven

If it has to be a Pocket PC, you're probably out of luck. If it can be a
WinCE device, then there are several OEMs that provide exactly this. The
BitsyX from Applied Data would work very well.

Hi,

There are a number of such vendors. I don't know if my web site lists them
all (actually, I'm sure that I have missed some). However, take a look at
my PC Data Acquisition links.
