Embedded Script Problem

My computer currently has two running viruses in it. One
changes the default setting of my homepage (a trojan file
maybe?) and the other is an embedded script which loads,
every 24 hours, a set of webpages. I've run a system scan
with Norton Anti-Virus, as well as a spyware sweeper using
Webroot's Spy Ware Sweeper. Nothing seems to be able to
specifically locate these two files. Norton has been
successful at recognizing the embedded script, but is
offering me no options to quarantine the file. Any help
would be wonderful. Thanks.

You might also want to try SpyBoy Search and Destroy and AdAware to try to
remove parasites. SpyBot has and advanced mode/tools option that may offer
more solutions including a process tracker and starup program lister. If it
was my machine however with everything going on, I would probably reinstall
the operating system. You can do such without having to format which should
preserve your data [unless EFS encrypted] if you install into existing
\winnt folder, though your applications, service pack, and critical updates
would have to be reinstalled and data copied fom your old profile under
documents and settings. --- Steve
