I have been trying (without success) to embed a QuickTime
movie into a PowerPoint (WinXP) presentation. I could do
this easily in earlier releases of PowerPoint. Now, I can
only put a linked file. Even if the file is embedded in an
earlier veresion of PowerPoint, it will not play in PPT for
XP. Has this feature been removed?

Any insights are appreciated!
Thanks,
Laura

You could never embed a movie file into PowerPoint. The only files that get
embedded are wave files.

Even with a linked file, it doesn't work. Even when the
linked file is in the same directory. I get an error
message saying the movie can't be inserted. Does PowerPoint
still support QuickTime? I can't find an answer in the help.

Any suggestions are appreciated!
