If I embed an image on a form or a report does that mean I no longer
have to keep the directory that contains the images? In other words if
I load my Access application on another computer will the images still
show up without me having to load all of the images as well? Is there
any advantage embedding as opposed to linking?
Thanks

See the above for the only advantage. However, embedding only a couple of
images will significantly bloat the size of your database file. When you
have multiple images, linking is best. Also, if you embed the same image in
multiple forms and/or reports, you will again significantly bloat the size
of your database file. This might occur where you want to put a logo on
multiple forms and/or reports. In this case, ermbed your logo in a separate
form and/or report then use the form or report as a subform or subreport
everywhere you want your logo. The additional bloat will only be for
embedding one image.

==>Let's ask it the 'nice' way...
Would you please, please go away Steve ??

This is to inform 'newbees' here about PCD' Steve:
http://home.tiscali.nl/arracom/whoissteve.html (updated, mainly the 'abuse-reporting' page...)
Until now 3700+ pageloads, 2375+ first-time visitors
(these figures are real and rapidly increasing)

Why is this ???
Because Steve is the ONLY person here who continues to advertise in the groups.

It is not relevant whether he advertised in *this* particular post or not...
==> We want him to know that these groups are *not* his private hunting grounds!

For those who don't like too see all these messages:
==> Simply killfile 'StopThisAdvertising'.
Newbees will still see this warning-message.
