Why can't I send an embedded graphic via the calendar as an invitation? I
can send on as a regular e-mail and it works fine. Also, when I send the
invitation, I see the embedded graphic. The receipients do not. Is there a
setting to change this?

Are you sending to recipients inside your organization or outside? Do you
use Exchange as your mail server? If so, what version? And what version of
Outlook are you using?

We do not use Exchange, but we are using a POP3 hosted by another company.
We are using Outlook 2003. It is internal within our mail domain.

We do not use an exchange server, but we use pop3 hosted by a third party
e-mail host. We use Outlook 2003 Sp1.

In that configuration, you'll have to suppress the use of iCalendar and hope
that everyone you're sending to has Outlook. (Non-Outlook users won't get a
usable meeting request, although they will see the meeting date/time.) You
can suppress iCal in Tools | Options | Calendar Options, under Advanced
Options. You should also set the mail format for recipients to Outlook
Rich-Text by double-clicking their email addresses.

I was able to change the mail format to send as Rich-Text but I di not see
any option to turn off Ical in Tools|Options|Calendar Options -- there was no
Advanced options. Is there another way to do this within the registry?

I found it. It was just on the drop down on the format toolbar while I was
creating it. It is working now. Thanks A Lot!
