Hello all,

New to xp embedded so please excuse my ignorance.

I have an XP pro box. I 've partitioned the C drive and built an image
using Target Designer etc. I can boot the Embedded drive it goes
through FBA and comes up fine but I can't read anything on my floppy
drive, CD burner drive or DVD drive. I can "see" all these drives in
"my computer" but I get errors like disc not formatted or format not
valid. Is this plan and simple a driver issue? The devices worked fine
in XP Pro.
Is there a way to open the device manager in Embedded to see what
drivers are being used?

In XP pro I see that Roxio is installed but I don't see it anywhere in
Target designer.
I walked through Mike Hall's tutorial and used the suggested prototype
"selector and the "information Appliance" template
Thanks for any help,
Brendan

I didn't look hard enough on this forum first. The addition of the FAT
solved my floppy problem. I still have the CD and DVD probs but I see a
mention of adding CDFS so I'll try that......

Add CDFS (for CD) and UDFS (for DVD).
