Embedded Excel object - Font changes

Hi!

After embedding an Excel object in Powerpoint XP a
doubleclick on the object produces a total change of the
font. It looks a bit like a change of proportions of the
object but it's not. The single letters of a word don't
have a distance between each other and are nearly
overlapping?

Does anybody have an idea?

SYMPTOMS
========
When using an 8 pt. font in an embedded Excel chart some characters will appear to run together when the PowerPoint
presentation is printed.

CAUSE
=====
This problem is not caused by PowerPoint, but rather Excel. The character spacing was calculated incorrectly when the
text was rendered into an Enhanced Metafile (EMF) by Excel. Office 97 did not have this problem because it used
Windows Metafiles (WMF).

WORKAROUND
==========
To workaround this problem, use the following steps:

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. Click the Print tab.
3. Click to select the Print inserted objects at printer resoltion
option.
4. Click OK.
 
Hi Phil,

thanks for your advice. But I had already tried this
successlessly. I also tried to deactivate the take over of
the layout of embedded objects (in Tools-AutoCorrect). No
any success.

Any other idea?
