sI have downloaded a template that I am trying to modify in FP. When I try to
close it it asks me to save an embedded file, the name of the file is
mm_brochure.css and FP is trying to save it as a picture file when I click ok
to save it nothing happens and the dialogue box stay open. I end up having to
choose 'Set Action' and then choose 'don't save this file use the current
file on disk'.

Will this cause a problem when I try to publish this to the web? How do I
get this to stop wanting to save this file, or, better yet how do I save this
file?

Thank You Rob, I have imported it into FP, I have created a number of pages
within the new site (i.e. photo.htm, etc.). I can save and close each new
page with no problem but when I save the index.htm (the original imported
page) I am still getting the same dialogue box:
to save an embedded file, the name of the file is 'mm_brochure.css' and FP
is trying to save it but when I click ok to save it nothing happens and the
dialogue box stays open. I end up having to choose 'Set Action' and then
choose 'don't save this file use the current file on disk' but I cannot see
this file in the website anywhere.

Is this is a css style sheet, and how do I intetrate it so I stop getting
this dialogue box that doesn't know what to do with it?

I am creating this for a client and there is no website host yet or even an
domain name. I am afraid that once I try to publish the site that I will have
problems. It 'previews in browser' okay but that isn't always indicative of
smooth sailing when I actually publish.

Any further input would be greatly appreciated.

Also there is no folder named cgi-bin in the newly imported website, is that
a problem?

If you use Perl scripts, it may be a problem - otherwise, only a problem if
you use a folder named cgi-bin.

Thank you Ron,
I don't know what Perl is, is that programming language? I am not sure where
that would come into it.

Re cgi bin - I thought that FP automatically created a folder named cgi bin?
I was just wondering why it did not in this case.

Plus what about my other question re the css file that won't save, could it
cause a problem?

Thanks for your continued help 'guys'.

FP does not automatically create a cgi-bin.

Thanks Tom, another question answered,
However, what about saving the embedded css file? Could it cause a problem?
Is there a way for me to save it? Where would I find it in the template that
has now been imported and saved to a FP website?

are you sure it's really a .css file (which is just a txt file), what
happens when you double click on it outside of FP...what do you see? (It
should not be an image)
