Hi
We use images for teaching, and, need to have a facility where a student rolls the mouse over a section of an image, and is given a description or more information of that section. Essentially a mouse-over popup. In a web page, that is easy - use of image maps, etc. Our problem is that we want the information embedded into the image, so that it shows these popups irrespective of how the user views the image. (I have seen programmes that embed tags into images, but they are essentially animated gifs that repeat themselves, with the user having no control).
This will allow us make the images avaible in databases for students to download and view individually (assumption: all our students currently use Windows XP), and also easy to use in Learning Systems that don't work properly with Javascript.
Is there any way of doing this?
Thanks
Ken
