Pop3 (Post Office Protocol) is what your receiving server normally uses
- if your email is xxx@yyy . net then Pop3 server is usually something
like pop.yyy.net or mail.yyy.net
SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is what your sending server
normally uses and may have nothing at all to do with your own email
address. If your ISP is zzz.net then this may be smtp.xxx.net or
mail.zzz.net
You will have to check these with your ISP or mail provider to see which
is correct, and remember that your SMTP server will probably have to be
the one you ISP gives you even if you get other addresses for receiving
email.
