It may take a few days to get a response from a newsgroup. Most of the
people here are voluntarily helping others in their spare time.
Fabio gave an excellent answer to your "Updating Windows" post of July 17.
Generally, I'd advise that users who are not network/system administrators
install all Critical Updates, since the vast majority of those are security
patches. You can use Automatic Updates to let your system keep itself up to
date with Critical Updates; you control how automatic that is.
If you still have questions, don't hesitate to ask.
