Hi,

When i compose a new msg and send, a copy is somestimes
saved in the sent items folder and sometimes not. I have
checked the setting in Tools - Options - Email
options "save a copies of messages in sent items" this is
box is ticked.

I am using outlook 2000, has anyone come across this
problem before or have any suggestions.

Thanks

M

Where is it getting saved? There is an option to save sent items in the
folder where the original when it's in any folder except the inbox.

In outlook options, i am only aware of the option that
says save to sent items, as i described below. How to i
get to the location that you are suggesting.

thanks

Mo,

Have you tried clicking on the advanced email Options
button? There is an option in there that puts replys in
the same folder as the origonal mail.

Thanks
Michelle
