Emails from Service Provider

I am unable to receive emails from my service provider via windows mail.
They email address does not appear to be blocked and I have set up the email
settings again ( as recommended by my service provider), but still no joy.

Any answers would be appreciated. Thank you.
 
So what happens when you click on Send/Receive? Any error message?
Or does it say "No new messages" at the right end of the status bar?

I get no error message, other emails arrive OK, I just don't receive the
ones sent to me by my service provider. I have checked this evening and
windows mail shows 'No new messages' on the status bar, but upon checking my
emails account via the service provider website there is a message waiting
for me from them.
 
So the only emails you can't download are ones sent by your service
provider? Very strange! I have no idea why that is happening.
 
LOL. Got mad at them once and blocked them :-)
